ACR Vintage Motocross Comes to Diamondback MX – August 21–22

Vintage motocross is coming to Diamondback MX in Carlisle, New York, as the American Classic Racing Series (ACR) rolls into the track for two days of riding and racing on August 21–22.

From classic two-strokes and air-cooled machines to Evolution, Vintage 80s, 90s, Y2K and modern bikes, this weekend is all about celebrating motocross history — and putting these machines back on the track where they belong.

Friday, August 21 – Open Practice

The weekend kicks off Friday with Open Practice from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Practice is $50 per rider and gives racers the opportunity to get some track time and prepare for Saturday’s ACR race.

Saturday, August 22 – ACR Vintage Motocross Race Day

Saturday is Race Day as the American Classic Racing Series takes over Diamondback MX.

ACR offers classes covering generations of motocross machines, including Pre-75, Pre-78, Drum/Disc Brake, Evolution, Vintage 80s, Vintage 90s, GP, Vintage 2000, Y2K, Vet, Air-Cooled Four-Strokes, Two-Strokes, Age Classes, Modern and E-Bike classes.

Whether you have a vintage machine ready to race or simply love old-school motocross, come spend Saturday at Diamondback MX and see these bikes back in action.

Race & Gate Information

Gate Fee: $20

ACR Class Fees: $40 for the first two classes and $30 for each additional class.  Scoring with XtremeScore Transponders. $10 each bike. They are yours to keep!

Overnight Parking is available. Limited water and electric hookups are available first come, first served for an additional fee.

Ticketing Information

Save money by purchasing tickets online in advance (higher pricing at the gate).

Children 6 and under are free with the purchase of an adult General Admission ticket.

VIP Parking is available for upgraded access and convenience.
Tailgate Parking is available as a home base—bring a cooler, chairs, and relax between activities.

Years in the making, this weekend we will start recording for our racing reality show, Ride Ranch, at The Ranch at Carlisle.  Signup at the front gate will have waivers for those who want to be on the list for show selection. 

We are excited to announce our partnership with PowerTube TV for the next 3 seasons.  Our shows will air on Roku, Rumble, YouTube and other media outlets. 

Directions

Coming from NYS Thruway:  Go NYS Thruway to Exit 25A onto I-88 West. Get off Exit 24 (Duanesburg). Make a Right off the exit then come to stop sign and make a left onto Route 7.  Follow to next traffic light and bear right onto Route 20. Follow Route 20 for 15 miles, you will see the Tennessee Gas Compressor Station on the left, make your next left onto Lykers Road.  Go 1/2 mile and turn left into driveway.

Coming from State Route 145:  Follow 145 to Cobleskill. Make left at Route 7, go passed Walmart and Dunkin Donuts.  Go under train trestle and make an immediate right onto Barnerville  Road, go approx 1 mile and make a left onto Grovernors Corners Road, at stop sign make a right on County Road 10, go approximately 1 mile and make a left on Lykers Road. Track is about 2 miles on right.
